You may not be familiar with the name but HTC produces many of the Microsoft powered devices that are on the market today. They are also one of the most innovative companies when it comes to handset design.
The roadmap for device lanuches for the remainder of the year has been published on a number of websites today and included the following "BlackBerry-like" device:

Known as the HTC Excalibur it looks remarkably similar to the BlackBerry 8700 with it's full colour screen, styling and QWERTY keyboard. According to the roadmap it will be available from September 2006, although no details were available as to which carriers would be taking the device.
The good news is that this increases once again the choice of devices businesses have for the depolyment of mobile applications.
