AppSwing have been interviewed and featured in the Financial Times. The article was about the huge growth that Reading is expected to see over the next few years and featured comment from a number of well know local companies such as Microsoft and the football club. AppSwing were chosen to represent the small hi-tech companies of which there are many in this area.

For the past six months we have been planning AppSwing’s very first event. We aimed to get fifty people in attendance with a good mix of presentations that were informative rather than salesy. In the end we beat the 50 mark and judging by the feed back we received we also managed to achieve our other goal too. Over 89% of the attendees said that the event either was “Excellent” or “Good”. One comment received was: ‘I enjoyed the balance of the presentations that were not purely AppSwing (+ selling of the solution). Very well organised.’

Following the success of the first event we are now looking to hold a further one this time in the North of England running the same agenda but hopefully attracting those that couldn’t make the journey down to Reading.
